@hishamhussain. I believe as you stated (I have been suffering with excessive mucus coming from lungs with out coughing 3 months ago.
I find difficulty to expel continually accumulating phlegm coming from my lungs to throat my case get worsen day by day and I feel recently short-breathing) you should follow up with what your doctor,s diagnostic advises are. And if you let him/her know that you are feeling strongly positive with his/her decision of taking Chest X-ray or CT scan that might help to decrease the confusion as X-Ray explains a lot of the case of the patient. You do not have to follow what I am saying here because it is not a prescription.. hope you feeling better soon and becoming well soon!
@sudhirkrgupta- I know that tea is a big deal with some cultures but is there any way that you can eliminate it because the later you eat the more of a chance for GERD?

@qurat123 Welcome to Mayo Connect. This must be very disturbing. When my son had a bad cough I was scared to death. My first question is what has your pedi said about this and his he on any medicines?
Hi all, unfortunately I'm back again. The Breo only seemed to help in the early parts of the summer. Since it started getting cold again recently, the "attacks" of mucus/phlegm have shot up again. I have noticed that when I talk, it seems to be a sort of trigger that starts a lot of phlegm to enter my mouth. It seems to coalesce in the top back area of my mouth, and slide to my uvula, where it activates my gag reflex. I'm not sure if any progress has been made here, but hopefully this added detail might trigger somebody who has had similar cases.

Do you have any thing to help me?
@tsedachalemu- Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. This is tough to go through as you will see in other posts and what others have to say. Did this start abruptly? Have you checked to see if you have Acid Reflux Disease (GERD)? Have you had any lung tests done? It might be a good idea to see a pulmonologist and a GI doctor.
Meanwhile here are a few links and some helpfull hints:

Dear @merpreb thank you for your constructive advise. Dear I think the my problem developed gradually not abruptly. I did not checked Acid Reflux Disease any lung tests done. Except I took only antibiotics.
@tsedachalemu- Ah! GERD doesn't usually happen overnight and neither does Hiatal hernias if it didn't happen from an injury. If you are over 50, and overweight chances are pretty good of a hernia and GERD.
Did you take an antibiotic for an infection? Have you thought about being tested for your symptoms?
