Is general anesthesia for surgery safe if you have COPD?
Hi I was just wanting to know if anyone on here has had general anesthesia for surgery.and how safe it is if you have COPD.

I think it might depend on the kind of surgery/procedure and how long it would take. That would dictate the amount of anesthetic needed and the impact on our COPD. Good advice to check with your pulmonologist.
