Hello everyone!
My name is Mery and I have had chronic pain for over twenty years. Lately, it’s gotten a lot worse and I am currently trying to discover why.
In the last year I have lost 20% of my body weight and it seems to be mostly muscle. I have started eating healthier and exercising a bit more but not to the extent that I should be losing that much weight, especially muscle.
My doctor has done extensive blood work and it’s all coming up normal. No tick born diseases, no heart problems, not even an excessive amount of inflammation. The next step is a brain MRI to see if I have MS or a brain tumor. The whole process is frightening. I want an answer, I want to be able to treat whatever it is that is wrong with me. I need to stop feeling this level 10 pain that nothing I can take seems to help. (I can’t take narcotics)
Thanks for listening!

Since my pain is neuropathy I suggest you try a neurologist to do basic electrical functions. Not all nerve conditions found with MRI.
Less scary to check neuro problems. Had a rare benign tumor on nerve behind knee Found by using scan Then to do surgery I also needed MRI. Fixed the pain. you can try OTC Lidocaine spray or roll on for relief Eases muscle problems.

Persistence works!!! I am Fran and have dealt with most kinds of pain over 80 yrs...
Search FDA and NIH and outstanding hospital sites like Mayo clinic/ cleveland clinic, j Hopkins or other reputable specialty hospital. Was diagnosed with Old Age Sciatica for leg pain by 2 Orthopedists ! paid w own $$$ for leg scan that showed Nerve tumor on sciatic NERVE Ha d to stop 3rd ortho doc as he wanted to use huge needle to Drain Baker's cyst ! Would not wait for scan report fax to get there. So persistence pays to keep looking for right treatment for correct diagnosis! Years later excellent orthopedist replace hip Reovere independence in 2 week No pain during recovery !

Hello,
I had a back operation in January 2022, in regard to not having a disk between S1-L5. The repair was successful, but I suffered terrible collateral damage from Sciatica in both legs, Piriformis Syndrome in both buttocks, and Neuropathy in both feet. My surgeon said all this happened because pressure was taken off of the Sciatic nerve, of which had been pinched really bad. He said the tremendous pain I was in was temporary, and would ease up after a while. Wrong!! I have been in chronic pain for almost 3 years. I started out on Gabapentin, and after a while, was put on Lyrica. I take 75 mg in the morning, and 125 mg at night. My pain is so bad, that I have to take a narcotic (Ambien) just to be able to get some sleep. Currently, my major pain is in my right buttock, and goes down the back of my right thigh. Also, the Neuropathy in my feet is really bad. So, I know we are all different, but I would really appreciate some help. Thanks, in advance.

I would suggest going to pain management or regenerative medicine practice. I’m sure there is something that can be done non surgical to help you.

No side effects at all I am pleased with it so far. It’s only been a week so I guess I’ll see how it goes. Best of luck to you and may the peace of Christ be with you on your journey.

I love to walk in the woods and with friends, to bike and to swim. I like to read, weave, knit, and garden. I’m retired as a Clinical Social Worker. I am using the NoiGroup protocols now in PT and am feeling quite a bit of relief.

Hi,
I’m Vicki. Underwent a dozen spinal fusions in my 30’s. Ended up with great fusions but FBSS. Have had intrathecal pain lumps since 1996 with good pain control. Developed a peripheral neuropathy which is treated with oral Ketamine and good results.
At 71, I just underwent a fusion from T12-L2 in Jan this year. Recovery is going slow but well.
I’m now fused from T12 - S1 and live with chronic pain.
