Thxs! But the VA in CO. does not help at all. There NO SUPPORT group for caregivers in Colorado Springs. The only one close by is 40 miles aways, in another town. I can not drive because of my disability , either . My days feel so dark !

Hello, check out the local Disabled American Veterans (DAV.org) I am a member and many Vietnam era veterans have wives that get support from the VA with help from the DAV.
The website for the Colorado Springs chapter is https://www.dav26.org/
There is no cost and you do not need to join to get help.
I am a disabled Air Force Veteran and finally found the DAV after 40 years of trying to deal on my own.
There is a DAV caregiver program, see https://www.dav.org/get-help-now/veteran-topics-resources/caregivers/

I hope this helps.
