It's so good to read that you had an improved DEXA after making a number of changes. Would you be willing to share what you have done in terms of diet, supplements, exercise and stress reduction? Many thanks!

Thank you so much! This information is very helpful, and I appreciate your sharing it. You and I are doing some of the same things, so that's encouraging. All the best to you on your journey to bone health as well!
I started taking Osteo Collagen-Pep (Fortibone) from Dr. McCormick's site back in late November, or early December. It's really good quality at a great price. Whether or not it's helping, I can't say because I've made so many changes (medication, diet, supplements, exercise and stress reduction) that any or all of them could be adding benefits.
I am doing something right. My first DEXA was in January of last year. I had my second DEXA two weeks ago, and it showed a 7.2% improvement in my spine. The hip is unchanged (not worse :))
I guess the only way to know if Fortibone specifically is making a difference is to only take that and do nothing else. I just take it because it MAY help, and it doesn't seem to be doing any harm. The way that I see it is that even if each thing I'm doing to better my bone metabolism works to a small degree, together it could add up to a significant improvement.
@hopefullibrarian I’m considering taking Osteo-Collagen Prep. Are you still taking it? Did you have any side-effects from it? I wish it wasn’t a powder you have to drink. Does it taste ok? Thank you!

Check out BONE COACH. I follow him. He was 29 when he found he has osteoporosis. Became a big advocate. I don't think he believes in meds and injection, but for me it was after I was on TYMLOS that probably the best one I had. Within 15 months my DEXA showed spine from -3.7 to -3.0 and hips went down to -2.7. my body felt strong. Regretfully I did not complete 18 -24 months due to increase of out of pocket starting with $1000 a month. Then went to Prolia for one year didn't like the knees and hips ache, I quit that and went to the MOST DANGEROUS RECLAST INFUSION!!!, That was 3/7 on this year...still in pain. I don't think I will take anything for awhile. I will take as they call HOLIDAY from from meds, stick with my vegan diet, take vitamins and just added Collagen powder with FOTIGEL FORTIBONE 5000mg, TENDOFORTE COLLAGEN 5000mg. Not from Bone coach, his prices are high. Bought it on Amazon but I learned a lot from him. And YES ITSY NOT VEGAN...but got to do what I got to do withy BIG PHARMA POISIONING OUR BODIES. Good luck to all of us!. If anyone took Reclat Would love to hear an impute please

I love that you improved your DEXA score! It gives me hope! However right now, I am reluctant to go the medicine route. May I ask why you kept changing your medicine? Are you on any medicine now? Thank you!

Has anyone taken Fortibone, without Osteoporosis meds, and then had improved results on their Dexa scan?

I use that. There are no side effects. I've mixed it into smoothies and even milk. It has no taste.
I also am taking OsteoCollagen Pep Fortibone. I have been taking it for about 5 months. No side effects. Hoping it’s helping.
Greetings nitzapitza,
Which brand of collagen did you purchase on Amazon? I was considering BoneCoach but very expensive.
Thank you, Esther
