I have Hashimoto. Thyroidectomy 2015. Developed anxiety supposedly

Wondering has anyone else had this happen.

Complete removal. Small amount of cancer found. Blood work and imaging has been ok since. However er lymph node aches and tightness around throat area. Was given Duloxetine for several yrs. Got off and felt fine. Now it's back.

I have hoshimoto thyroiditis and I don't know what symptoms are from that auto immune disease or any of my other ones like crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis or rheumatoid arthritis or any of the other ones

@ginny505, you say "it's back". Do you mean thyroid cancer has recurred?

No the so called anxiety. Feel it in my neck in and off. Imaging is good.

HELLO, most patients who have Hashimoto's have autoimmune issues. I do,
I have Sojgren's Syndrome, Small Fiber Neuropothy very painful. I have a Pain Pump which helps somewhat. Rumatologist ordered, LOT OF BLOOD WORK DONE! Very anxious to no the results!!!!! Sojgren's Syndrome, very dry mouth, skin etc. I hardly ever go out, pain is so bad, sitting!!!! Passing stool is difficult and painful because my body is so dry. Good Luck to you!!

You say you feel anxiety in your neck? I am not a doctor, but I’ve never heard of anxiety in your neck. Can you please explain what you mean? Anxiety usually attacks your whole body (nervous system). If your neck is fluttering, usually that’s your Thyroid, but if you’re saying you had it totally removed, I am stumped on that.

Me too. PLACED ON ANXIETY medication before. SO SEDATING. DID FIX IT during that time.
