I am sorry that happened to you.. I pray for the journey because I know it’s going to be one … I love the Mayo Clinic and my treatment team… Everyone has been so nice and supportive… Working in the medical field myself, I know how important that is… The wait is stressful for sure, knowing it could be any day or a year from now… I try to remain positive.. And I feel good considering my MELD being 26.. Other than a little swelling in my feet and being tired.. Other than that, I’m okay… How long did you wait for your transplant, may I ask…

I was diagnosed in may and had it done in January 7 months from start to finish I was in horrible shape and part of I was poisoned by a ex girlfriend nice huh CDC visited me a couple of times it’s still a open case I only had a few days left in me if I didn’t get a transplant life is great now 2 years later and doing great. I wasn’t even a big drinker either but I don’t miss that at all
