One might follow the other. If you are not sleeping well, you may develop anxiety over time. Or, if you have anxiety over unresolved issues, you can begin to lose sleep.
Brain fog is often a sign of a sleep disorder, particularly sleep apnea. But it can also be due to poor circulation, maybe due to plaque deposition in the carotid arteries. It can be due to poor heart function.
Really, you ought to see a doctor about this, and do it right away. We can't do more than to guess.

Are you regularly using your cpap for your apnea? Have you reviewed your equipment and setting with your sleep apnea health team?
Has anything changed in your sleep routine/environment or diet? Have you had extra stress in your life recently?
First suggestion is to see your doctor. Brain fog and tiredness could be attributed to menopause ( depending on age) or even sleep apnea, but should be discussed with doctor to properly diagnose.
