Has anyone ever been on Duloxetine (Cymbalta) for nerve pain?

Has anyone ever been on Duloxetine (Cymbalta) for nerve pain? I've had 2 doctors push this on me. I know that the side effects can be terrible and getting off of it difficult as it requires titration. One time I remember taking one pill, and not liking the way it made me feel, so not taking any more, and still feeling the "weirdness" from it 2-3 days later. and that was only 30 mg Please pass along any experience or advice from this medication?

I've been on Duloxetine for 2 years with no problems. I take it at night before going to sleep.

I did try it and I felt a weirdness, dizziness and ringing on my head but not in ears. I refused to take it any more since I didn't think I could work and take it

I took it for my burning mouth in the beginning. I hated it and never took it again. It gave me a very strong urge to pee but I could not pee. It was miserable until the medicine wore off.

Hi my burning started out on my face and then after my pump was replaced the pump and the tubing in the back shortly after that I started getting burning all on my upper body the back of my arms were the worst but it's horrible it's right when I sit down and laid back it gets after about 15 minutes it's really really bad I had to go to the hospital when I stayed in 4 days and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I'm kind of thinking it might be where the tubing is in my spine could be pressing on a nerve I'm sure the doctors will say oh no that can't be it

How did your pump work before it was replaced?

My mother was. She took it for a few weeks and it caused her to become depressed and constantly sleepy, so she stopped taking it. I don't know how quickly this drug is supposed to work, but while she was taking it, it did not help her nerve pain at all.

I have been on Cymbalta for about 3 years for chemo induced neuropathy. Started with 60 mgm. Once a day. Now on 90 mgm once a day. My pain has been reduced a bit. I don’t have any negative side effects.

I’m on Cymbalta 120mg day and Lyrica 50mg twice a day. This has given me some relief. When I don’t take the Cymbalta, if I’m running out, then the pain starts coming back again. Lyrica is new for me and it works good for pain, but my body feels a little weak. I’m hoping that the weakness will subside as I am recovering from a bad upper respiratory virus and lost my voice.

Tomar las medicinas que nos indican es lo adecuado. Estar atento a los efectos secundarios que pueden aparecer nos obliga a evaluar si realmente se puede tolerar. Sin embargo tomar agua (2litros ) diarios ayuda muchísimo a disminuir los efectos secundarios . Mantener las energías y ánimo arriba es muy importante. Feliz día queridos amigos.

I have been on 30mg of Duloxtine for about 15 years. I've learned that not everyone can take it. I've tried Gabapentin and Lyrica, but both left me with side effects. I've also used CBD gummies without THC and that also helps.
