If this isn't allowed, feel free to delete it. I've been suffering from Atrial Flutter, abnormal Atrial Flutter and AFib for a few months now. I've had 6 Ablations within 27 days and it still hasn't been fixed. Last night I had to go to the local ER with a heart rate of 226 and very shortness of breath.
We are moving to the Santa Clarita Valley and looking for both a Cardiologist along with a electrophysiologist. It looks like UCLA has the best reputation dealing with heart problems. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Look no further than Dr. Andrea Natale, Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute....who has privileges and who travels to perform procedures at several hospitals in the American west, and even a few further east. He was trained by Dr. Pierre Jais from Bordeaux, FR, who is considered by many to be Grandpa in the field of heart arrhythmia mitigation. Dr. Natale enjoys an immense reputation, and even appears in some YouTube videos where he talks, along with a panel (if I remember correctly) about the subject.

Former southern CA resident and patient. UCLA is a great hospital. There is also USC and Cedar Sinai. I had mitral valve replacement 4 years ago at Cedars. You might want to check both of these out. Also looks like Norma, RN gave a reference for her employer Dr. Natale which sounds promising. It's frustrating. I know from personal experience, 5 ablations, open heart surgery and a MAZE procedure finally got me into sinus rhythm where I happily remain for 4 years. Best of luck to you!

Thanks so much. After my ER visit where I had both Pharmacological and Electrical Cardioversion, I have had a normal heartbeat with no flutter or AFib. I'm hoping and praying it will hold.
