I’m sorry for the stress you’re feeling, it’s always scary when you have symptoms and fear the worst. I had light flashes in my eye and I could see them best in the dark, it was harder to see them in daylight. I went for help and was told that it’s normal, she called it vitreous detatchment and said that it would go away in about six weeks…it was still happening after two months and my instincts were telling me to get another opinion, my doctor referred me to a ophthalmologist who told me I had a torn retina, what really scared me was that he said that I was not a moment too soon because I would have been blind and nothing could be done. Thankfully I had laser surgery the same day and he saved my eyesight, two years later my other eye did the same but this time I knew what to. I’m glad you’re getting it checked out to be safe and thank God for good instincts, amen.

Thanks for the reply.
Did you also have floaters?
Maybe I should find someone earlier to look at it.
I have had symptoms for a week.
