glycopyrrolate for drooling, helped but tremors increased

Posted by sadiecora @sadiecora, Jun 17, 2020

My husband has had a problem lately with drooling.. Our neurologist offered the above medicine to help with the drooling.
I noticed side effects on line said it could interfere with medicine for Parkinson’s disease.
He took 2 pills for first two days and it really helped to stop the drooling.
On the third day the tremor in his hands increased significantly after taking the Glycopyrrate, Don’t know if it was just a coincidence.
Does anyone use Glycopyrrolate and if so could you share your experience and opinion of this medicine.
Many Thanks.
Jenny

Hi, @sunil123 - that sounds challenging having excessive salivation. You mentioned that taking the glycopyrrolate has helped with the hypersalivation. Have you noticed any side effects with taking it along with the iron folic and multivitamin? Did he mention why he suggests these three together?
