What brought you joy today?
If you've been living with cancer for a while, you know it's not all gloom and doom. Where did you find joy today? I'll start:
1. Working in my garden.
2. Meeting my daughter for tea.
3. Home-made pizza for dinner.
4. My spouse (always).
5. Some interesting online discussions.
6. Rereading a good novel.

8 Reactionsi love it when i can get out of bed in the am and dome productive things. today i peeled potatos for the shepherds pie i am making today. i also cleaned my oven drawer filled my dehumidifier opened packages. i get many things online like pots knives and other things to make my life easier.

6 ReactionsI'm making shepherd's pie, too! I have two in the freezer that I made from turkey leftovers at Thanksgiving. All I have to do is add the potatoes on top. Love the Pie!

I love rain too! In fact, it's been raining hard all afternoon! I can hear it on the roof. It sounds so nice! Rain makes everything look and smell so clean. I live in Washington State and it is well known for its rain. We have rain from Oct. until August! November and January are our rainiest months. Of course, there are some sunny days throughout the year also. Not enough for the tourists. I remember when I worked as a hotel desk clerk, how the tourists always complained about so much rain! Of course, it was summer!
