Advice for Terrifying Symptoms?
I’m a 22 year old male that is diagnosed with ASD and still lives with his parents. For about two weeks now, I’ve been experiencing excruciating pain in my lower back, accompanied by painful spasms in my legs and shoulders that are sporadic and at their worst when I am either laying down or sitting while leaned over. I also get occasional tingling in my hands and feet mixed with stiffness in my fingers and pain in my legs while I walk. I had previously visited my PCP for what I believed were fasciculations in my tongue, but was told that this was simply due to the extreme anxiety and depression I experience on a regular basis. My parents also believe that I’m overreacting about many of my symptoms and that they believe that I have sciatica from spending most of my time laying down. I have a NCS scheduled for tomorrow, but other than that, I’m not sure of what to do or think. My anxiety of course tells me the worst possible outcome of what this could be. What are your thoughts?

Most probably it might be Sciatica. The symptoms you descibed support it. In my knowledge only opioid pain killers like Tramadol and nsaids like Etoricoxib plus Acetaminophen and Pregabalin plus Nortryptilin will work to relieve the low back pain and other discomforts.
But better to be under the treatment with Ayurveda. You will get much better result in this regard.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

My teenage son and has adhd and anxiety so I can empathize (his dad has adhd and asd). I have many spine and central/peripheral nervous system symptoms.
Getting EMG/nerve conduction studies of upper and lower limbs is good. It would also be good to share these results with an orthopedic spine specialist to determine if Xrays and MRIs of your cervical and lumbar spine would be warranted. Depending on the results, they may recommend physical therapy, pain management or further testing.
Have you had an extensive blood panel for neuropathy, vitamin deficiencies/toxicities, etc.?
@dlydailyhope
I have not received a blood panel for any of these things or an EMG and I’m not sure if my parents will allow me to get either after my NCS. Unfortunately, because of bad weather, it’s had to be postponed to next week, which means I’ll have to wait even longer.
You should get treatment for sciatica to be sure it's not the culprit and it will relieve your pain.. There's exercises that can be done to relieve it.. Good luck
