Just started Ativan, 1mg at night, Zoloft 25 mg in morning
Experienced breathing difficulty, general brain confusion eg, counting money. Made a bad choice in my car and scratched pretty bad. Will these mitigate? Went off Mertazapine because it only gave me 4-41/2 hrs. sleep and was still very anxious.

Cannot tolerate Zoloft. Gonna taper to 25 mg then off in 2/3 days. Have only been on 10 days but side effects are enormous! Panic attack this morning. Wow!
Severe brain buzz. It was like torture and the only time I could get away from it was sleeping. I started a low dose of Prozac and low dose of Benadryl and it helped. Now the brain buzz only happens every now and then. Read up on weaning off SSRI’s. I read articles published by the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic.

1 ReactionWent back to 7.5mg of Mirtazapine. Stopped Zoloft. The last 3 mornings were way too hard. Doctor said it was OK to switch since I had been on 50mg Zoloft for only 6 days. We’ll see. This morning is much calmer. About 5.5-6 hrs sleep.

I take .5 Ativan at night and 5mg Lexapro in the am and I feel fine. I also take Trazadone when my brain wont quiet down at bedtime.

1 ReactionSaw Psych Dr. new med regime 15mg b4 bed .5 mg Lexapro mornings. 2nd night the 15 didn’t give me that much sleep. Trying to trust process.
That is why I strongly believe changes in medications be made one at a time. That way you have a better idea of which medication may be the one causing the issues.
