I’ve been on 7.5 mg of mirtazapine for about two years. Was on Ativan prior, it had stopped working and none of my doctors wanted me on a benzo and I wanted off. Very gradual weaning. Tried several other drugs but mirtazapine has finally helped. I do have some strange dreaming and can feel groggy but getting the sleep has made a world of difference for me, as the lack of sleep was causing depression and a horrible quality of life.
