Have any of you had success with acupuncture ?

I have an appointment with an integrated doctor who practices western and eastern medicine. I am hoping that he can help me with my fatigue. Is there anyone that experienced success with acupuncture and/ or other eastern treatments?

I have fatigue, IBS, and GERD. I have had 4 treatments. I feel like it is helping, but as you mentioned, the symptoms leave for 3-4 days. The cost is $120 for one hour. The treatments have a very mild effect on fatigue. The effect on stress is noticeable after the appointment. Extremely relaxed.

Acupuncture did work for me initially but then my body rejected the needles (that is what the acupuncturist said). I developed small welts around every needle site. I was told I could not have acupuncture any longer. Hoping it will work for you!!!

I had 10 sessions with no luck.

I actually suffered from CFS/ME a few decades ago. Nothing really helped me with that other than the passage of time (nearly two years).
In subsequent years, I would sometimes feel that strange fatigue overcoming me. I discovered that an acupuncture session--typically a single one--would stop that dead in its tracks by the next day! The one time it didn't work, when I was visiting London, turned out to be the onset of a bout of influenza.

I've tried a couple of series of several acupuncture sessions with two different competent acupuncturists since having Long Covid (very similar to CFS, btw) for the past eight months now, but unfortunately they really didn't help me. Got to listen to a lot of New Age music, though.

YMMV, of course.

Acupuncture has helped me. I go every 2 weeks and the acupuncturist is familiar with long Covid.
