Bilateral centrilobular ground glass opacities

Posted by lindarobinson55 @lindarobinson55, Sep 16, 2022

I have had yearly Ct scans of my lungs and they continue to show centrilobular ground glass opacities in the upper lobes along with 2 pulmonary nodules (reported as unchanged in size from previous scans). My doctor is a wait and see guy and says “we will repeat in a year”. Should I be concerned

I have one GGO. Freaked out. Low possibility of cancer but next CT scan in November (3 months).

Hi maggie1955, do you mind sharing any updates on your lung nodule surveillance? I have four GGO's I found out about in Sept 2024 that we are watching. My next scan in Sept 2025. I too am freaked out! I have read all the statistics available but my smoking history and family history has me worried. Thanks and wishing you good health!
