Any women over 50 on HRT for symptoms?

I have been taking oral progesterone for years. It has really helped me, especially with sleep.
I also take testosterone and estrogen (patch). Now, I have had a full hysterectomy prior to this.
I look at all treatments and medications as risk vs benefit. Also, I need to add, that I also look at medications and treatments as quality of life rather than quantity of years. I understand though that not everyone does.

What symptoms are you still having post menopause? Have you been assured that HRT will relieve these symptoms and worth the risk?

I take estrogen and 200 mg of progesterone at bedtime. I’m 53 and have been taking both for nine years.

I would ask my pcp or ObGyn to refer to an endocrinologist with a lot of experience dealing with peri/postmenopausal females.

Most of menopause symptoms are gone except for some anxiety, weight gain, and joint pain. Mom and dad both have osteoporosis and heart issues so I thought maybe HRT would protect me. Not sure what risks are associated with it. Thank you!

Say enough good things about hrt. I went on it in my early 50s And was just taken off it 1 year ago.When I got diagnosed with hormone positive breast cancer. Now 66 yrs old. I took estrogel and progesterone. Now Experiencing horrible menopause symptoms.
I wish I could go back on it. I always felt great and my sleep was incredible progesterone is tge best thing for sleep

I have been taking hrt for around 7 years now. I tried to wean off of it and developed Seborrheic keratosis all over my body. I got scared and started hrt back full time. I have Seborrheic keratosis everywhere now. I hate them

My breast cancer is called DCIS which means ductal carcinoma insitu. That means it's in the milk ducts and has not spread outside them The cancer tested positive for estrogen and progesterone. So it was caused by hormones. Which means i can't take hrt because it can increase my hormones which can possibly cause more cancer.

How did hrt get linked to seborrheic keratosis?

I also evaluate any care with quality vs quantity.
