I felt better around month 4 however pain never really left. Had aCT at 10 weeks post op due to the pain not improving, nothing showed---give your self more time. Here I am with the continued burning, sometimes sharp or gripping pain. Mine was robotic/laprascopic. I too can only eat small portions, fill up fast, another vicious cycle. It makes sense that it's a nerve, however continued inconsistent bowel habits are exhausting.

I have been fortunate o not having pain or inconsistent bowl habits.
It is crazy how we get so full so fast.
The only way to describe is more discomfort sometimes. With eating the "small meals" sometimes you just want to have chips instead of dinner. LOL But, what I have learned is choosing "right" foods for "normal BM's and steal cheating.
I have been able to add so much back in my diet now that I really have to think about nutrition.
All the years of eliminating foods that you know or think will cause an episode is gone. But, mentally still struggle with anxiety. (my Dr. said that was normal)
Dailey routines are great to follow. I do have normal BM's now. I took MiraLAX a couple of times early on.
But, I have controlled that now and adjust diet if needed.
Normal day for me is
Get Protein, fruit, vegetables, vitamins and yogurt every day.
I work out or do some kind of exercise daily.
The sauna has helped me too especially for energy and mental.
I make sure and drink a lot! Water, no sugar juices, mineral water, coconut water and chamomile/ peppermint tea if I get too full after I eat.
It is weird that I feel the hardness on my belly and know that it is a BM and once I go to the bathroom it goes away.
The other issue I thought was strange is my nails were chipping and breaking nonstop, and I have always had fast growing hard nails. My Dr. said to take Biotin 6 mths ago and it has helped and said it was normal after being "opened up"
How is your weight? Mine has not changed from what I lost before surgery.

Can’t you use hyoscyamine or something like that to see if it helps. It can be dissolved under the tongue. Baclofen 5mg is also an idea. Both are prescriptions.
