Hello I just joined the group. I am considering elective surgery for diverticulitis after 2 hospitalizations in 18 months. But also trying to make diet changes. Wondering other’s journey experiences on surgery decision. I am terrified

This may help.
I was terrified too!
It is great not to worry about ER visits, being on meds, having pain, and living again.
My Dr. told me that mine was so bad diet will not help, and you can change all you want, and it would not matter.
