Welcome @johns92118, Sorry to hear you are dealing with multiple conditions due to agent orange exposure. I'm also a Vietnam veteran but fortunately had no exposure. There may possibly be a connection or link but the one I've seen listed by the VA is birth defects for women Vietnam veterans (Hydrocephalus due to aqueductal stenosis) - Vietnam Veterans: Is Your Medical Condition on the Agent Orange Presumptive List?: https://vaclaimsinsider.com/agent-orange-presumptive-list/.

I did find another reference but it's also related to birth defects:
"In Vietnam, the Vietnamese Red Cross also associates the following with exposure to dioxin: liver cancer; lipid metabolism disorder; reproductive abnormalities and congenital deformities such as cleft lip, cleft palate, club foot, hydrocephalus, neural tube defects, fused digits, muscle malformations and paralysis; and some developmental disabilities."
--- Health Effects: https://www.aspeninstitute.org/programs/agent-orange-in-vietnam-program/health-effects/.

I'm not sure if you have already seen this but it might provide some answers for you.
--- Agent Orange exposure and VA disability compensation: https://www.va.gov/disability/eligibility/hazardous-materials-exposure/agent-orange/.

Have you talked with or contacted the Veteran's Administration?

I’m dealing with high blood pressure, hydrocephalus, stokes, diabetes, and the onset of Parkinson’s disease in both my father and my uncle. Both were exposed to large amounts of agent orange, one being a paratrooper that jumped right into that fog.

My uncle was in Vietnam and was showered with agent orange and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. His wife searched the internet and found a doctor in California that agreed to see him and found out he had hydrocephalus. He was shunted and he was able to walk without falling and was able to dance again and that made him a happy man. He has passed his lungs just gave out!

For this, one has to operated for a Shunt. Is there any other method to deal with HS? Any incidents or experience? Pls share any pointers. BR
