Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?
I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

How did it resolve?
I am 73, began feeling like something pinching inside my arm, for lack of better description, it come and go quickly a few times a night.
I consider it my nerve because I am a highly anxious person, on Lexapro for anxiety about 3 years now,5mg tablet once a day, lowest dose.
I am tired of hearing my Dr say nothing is wrong with me, if it continue I think I got to look in on it.
Did you test positive for Lyme disease? I've had the same symptoms for years and have been treating them with similar drugs but I have never tested positive for Lyme---which is crazy because I have all the symptoms of 3rd stage Lyme since the summer of 1991.
Hi, yes, I do feel internal vibrations especially when I’m relaxing or lying down. I had neuropathy and my nerves were normal. I’m long Covid and I’ve been having this problem since then.
I have the same thing and it drives me absolutely insane, especially when it’s so strong that I am unable to sleep-like last night. I had the actual Covid infection in 8/2021 and was mandated by my work to take the vaccine 12/2022. I am not sure if the vibrations started after the virus or if it was after the vaccine because for months I thought it was external and would lay awake at night trying to figure out what was vibrating! At first, I thought maybe it was our Sleep Number bed because it tracks your heart rate and your breathing and it also has several huge magnets that hold the mattress on the frame. Later when I slept away from home, I still had them-so not the bed! Finally I read on a long Covid facebook group post someone mentioned “internal vibrations” and I was like “OMG! This is what it is!!” I can’t believe that I never suspected that it was part of my LC! Thinking back, after the Covid infection, my worst symptoms were cognitive impairments, fatigue and shortness of breath and I was on supplemental oxygen for 3 months afterwards until I weaned myself off. The shortness of breath is gone but I still have cognitive issues and fatigue very easily after I do any physical or mentally difficult tasks. I forget what I am saying half way through telling a story or I am unable to follow stories other people tell me. I have trouble finding words that I did not have prior to Covid. I walk into a room and forget why I went-especially if someone distracts me by asking a question. I have been an avid reader all my life. I started reading when I was 3 years old-my mother did not teach me-no one taught me-my mom said that when I was 3, she realized that I could read. I remember a family member visiting and my mom was telling them that I could read already and the family member said “oh! she is not reading, she just knows her books by heart!” So he tried pointing out individual words and I read them right every single time so he finally agreed that yes, I could read! I was always reading some book every day but I haven’t been able to read more than a few pages since Covid because I have to keep rereading because I can’t focus on it. This more than anything tells me something happened to my brain when I had this virus. I saw a neurologist and they did a bunch of expensive tests and said my memory is “normal for my age”. This is not MY normal!! I think next time I see my primary, I will ask her to refer me to a different neurologist for a second opinion. I don’t believe that I mentioned the vibrations to the neurologist though. I think that the internal vibrations started after the vaccine-along with weird rashes and hives. I have photos of some of the rashes especially the great big itching burning hives-huge wheals that would pop up randomly for about 2 years but for now, I haven’t had the rashes in a while. This stupid virus and that vaccine really screwed me up and, of course, the government is off scot free for poisoning people! Stress definitely makes the vibrations worse and if I eat too much sugar they get worse. I really wish I could find something that helps.

I am the one that started this thread. I kept waking up to a vibrating bed and thought it was my little dog shivering, and kept throwing blankets over him, only to find out a month later it was me and not him. I did not have covid, nor did I take the vaccine, but I am not too certain that by tracing back to when these started -- I have the vet bill to remember that by -- if these internal tremors are not caused by SUGAR ALCOHOLS. I know I do not tolerate them at all, but I have been going through every ingredient in my supplements and researching them. I only changed one supplement. I had to have surgery on the back of my eye ball for a hole from something slipping away from the retina. After the surgery, another thing easy to track back to from bills and appointments; the doctor wanted me to switch from the Lutein supplement I was taking to one with more Lutein in it for the eyes. I purchased Zeaxanthin (hope I am spelling it right). The sugar alcohol WAS NOT LISTED ON THE LABEL, as it must be in a smaller amount. However, it is listed in other ingredients. There Sorbitol was listed. All sugar alcohols end in "itol." For me, and probably a lot of other unsuspecting individuals, these things cause horrible issues with irritable bowel syndrome. It used to be that ALL sugar alcohols had to be on the label.
I can trace my internal vibrations and when I started waking up to a vibrating bed, to when I switched from regular Lutein to Zeaxanthin, with Sorbitol not listed on the label. Sugar alcohols are in everything today, even Fudgesicles and Popsicles with ZERO sugar, which are aimed at children. It's in many ZERO drinks like some Gatorade. I have to check everything now, because they are taking Splenda out and putting sugar alcohols in the foods we are eating and drinking. They are in our frigging health food stores in Kombucha, and a host of other products. Now that they are listed in "other ingredients," I have to take a stinking magnifying glass with me to the store to read the "OTHER INGREDIENTS." Just a word of caution if you are using any products with sugar alcohols you might want to ditch them and see if the tremors don't subside after 2-3 weeks. I started taking a product called Liverwell which has 800 mg of N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) and mine totally stopped for 3 weeks, but then I started getting some light ones back when I didn't drink enough water. I started more research and threw the Zeaxanthin away and got a different Lutein product, and 10 days later, I am back to NO TREMORS. My take-away is that those sugar alcohols may be causing inflammation in the liver, and since it is as old as I am, it's been here for 75 years, working its butt off trying to filter everything I ate or drank. It's had more then its share of rough times. I get plenty of exercise walking 2-3 miles a day, weather permitting, and I still do Yoga. That sugar alcohol that snuck its way into a product without being seen is the only difference in my life that was added during that time when I started waking up to a vibrating bed.
This is very interesting, I belong to another thread for internal vibrations for a long time. I’ve had it for over four years now Mine started before I had the Covid vaccine and the three subsequent bouts of Covid. I also did the vitamin checklist and I stopped taking everything and I did feel better. I started taking everything back in one at a time and the vibrations would come and go in severity from my mild to bed shaking. The time of day didn’t matter, but it was more severe at night. I’m going to try the liver well. Thank you for your post.
@lwoodbrey
Unless pressure was on another part of my body, I did not feel them during the day. I only felt this at night, until I knew it was me and not Cubby. Then if he was laying next to me in the chair I could feel it in my thigh where he was laying next to me. After I realized it was me, and really paid attention, I could feel it in my upper torso front and back when laying in bed. If I turned on my side, I could feel it in my side.
Did you check to see if there are sugar alcohols in any of the food you are eating or drinking? I get a horrible spastic colon, and stomach, that ends in diarrhea or spasms in my stomach so bad that they showed up during the endoscopy, and the GI said she had never seen anything like it, because my stomach was twisting it was in spasms so bad. I always try to back track to when did this start and what did I do different, and the sugar alcohols they are adding to so much of our food is definitely what caused that. I stopped everything first and it took about 2-1/2 weeks before the spasms in my stomach stopped, and I went through my house and got rid of everything in my refrigerator, pantry, cupboards and canning room that had sugar alcohols in it. The spasms never returned, and the diarrhea stopped. Now that I know the sugar alcohol isn't always listed on the label, I have to take a magnifying glass with me to the store any time I plan on buying anything, because I can't see the "other ingredients" listed otherwise.
As far as the Liverwell, you are welcome. I am starting to feel like me again. When you first start taking it, if it does to you what it did to myself and my niece, have some extra work you need to get done planned. The first 3 weeks I took it I got a a boost like I drank 3 pots of fully loaded coffee. If you read up on NAC you will see this stuff is very useful. That would be why big pharma stopped using it as a prescription and allowed it to be put in supplements in 2022. There wasn't enough side effects to continue it as a prescription!!!! I had taken it once before when my liver became inflamed and swollen. That was also when I was using products with sugar alcohols in it. They sent me to a cancer doctor, who put me through lots of testing and had me come back quarterly for one year before discharging me from his care. When I stopped those sugar alcohols and started taking the Liverwell, the pain in my right side was gone within the first month. I thought I was rid of sugar alcohols, except for the occasional piece of chewing gum, which is rare. It was because my right side started aching again, in the same exact spot it did the last time when I went to my PA and the ultrasound showed inflammation and a thickening in my liver that I ordered more Liverwell. I was stunned the first day I took it when I noticed no vibrations at all during the day. So slight the next morning when laying in bed that I had to concentrate on it to feel it, and within 3 days gone, 100% for 3 weeks. When the extra energy the Liverwell was causing stopped, my internal vibrations started back up very lightly. Nothing like before, and not every day or every night. I noticed when I didn't drink enough fluids I would wake up and be able to feel tremors. With the Zeaxanthin gone, the Sorbitol, went with it, and within 3 days, so did the vibrations. I could still feel them ever so slightly for about a week. After 10 days without that crap in my body, they are no more.
By the way, I only take one Liverwell a day. I can't imagine taking a 2nd one. That stuff lit a fire under me for 3 weeks. I could have built a road to the moon, if I took two. One is great and if you look NAC up you will find it was used as a prescription for sinus infections, bladder infections, Parkinson's and a host of other things. The energy boost only lasted for 3 weeks, but that was taking one. With two I would have never went to bed!!! I need my sleep. Just forewarning you that you may need some extra work you want done planned out before you swallow your first pill. I just started my 2nd bottle, and as I said, I am starting to feel like me again to where I have my "drive" coming back for getting things done, instead of just "wanting" to get things done. Before I just wanted someone else to do all that needed to be done.
I will let you know if I have any side effects. I did buy it. I will try it today. We pretty much don’t eat anything that’s processed. I have had periods of time where I was using erythritol which is a sugar alcohol but haven’t been using it lately. When I stopped taking my vitamins, I started all of them up again except for fish oil. I also stopped drinking bottled water. Now most of my vibrations are just mild. I will have an occasional vibration so bad that it shows up on my EKG. The nurse told me to stop moving. I said I’m not moving. But I only get those big tremors occasionally now. Hopefully the liver well continue this. Maybe I’m toxic from all the medications. I’ve been taking over the years. I don’t know.
Yes. I am also on Gabapentin, 900 mg a day. I take it before bed because it also helps with RLS,, which I have badly. My issues come from SS. Please Google Mayo Clinic/steve GRINSTEAD for an explanation of SS. Superficial siderosis.
