The HIGHEST the inogen can deliver at its max setting of 6 is 1.25 liters. That’s only if you have a G5 or Rove 6. Other machines produce even less.

The Sequal Eclipse can deliver up to 3 liters/minute continuous flow but then will drain the battery rapidly. There may be one or two other machines that can produce 3 liters/minute continuous flow but same quick battery drain and these are heavier machines (15-20 pounds).

The 3 machines that offer 2 liters/minute continuous flow are about 8-10+ pounds with battery. I had a hard time carrying them for any length of time and used the pulse setting to conserve battery and only used continuous flow for sleeping. I prefer using a cart with these bigger, heavier machines, to conserve my energy. The 3 machines I’m familiar with are the Zen-O, Discovr by Bellascura and Liberty2. I’ve used all for a few days or longer.

Yes, I suspected as much as it says "total volume per min (ml/min) set at 6 = 1260
My insurance gave me an Inogen G5 with one standard battery. I had bought a Rov 6 with standard and extended batteries. Standard battery only lasts an hour set at 6. So, to fly one needs more batteries.
Interesting your comments on other brands. Of course, one can only use battery operated POC on a plane. I may have to consider those brands in the future.
My insurance provided me with a stable continuous concentrator when I went out of town. I am told that using pulse flow for sleeping depends on how one breathes, through mouth or nose.

Actually, regardless of how one breathes, if you need higher flow rate for sleep, continuous flow is safest and best for your body. Every RT and lung doc I’ve spoken with agrees.

I have 2 double batteries & 1 single. They’ve served me to fly HNL to DC and HNL to Narita, Japan. I’m very nervous about running out of batteries so rather have extra instead of not enough.

Most years (except during COVID), I fly about 30,000 miles/year. I generally get ill when using a machine that doesn’t give me enough O2 for sleep. Otherwise I’m generally pretty healthy while traveling.

Here’s a great resource about POCs that is frequently updated.

I do at times. I stop breath deep hold 5 secs or so pursed lip exhale 5 secs and do over till you feel ok. Fastest way, I have found, to get the breath back and 02 up again. All the best to you. I have to hold onto a cart when I am out shopping as that darned portable 02 is so darned heavy I am such a wimp.
Hope you have as good a day as possible.

Can you please explain what IV laser treatment is and whether you have had it and whether it made any difference at all? I can’t find out ANYTHING about IV laser treatment and can’t even picture how it would work, Information would be most appreciated.

I do too. Very upsetting. So I've pretty much stopped shopping and order online.
