good! I'm on a low dose currently but it really has reduced the pins, needles and burning. Has not helped the numbness in my toes but the horrible pain is much better. Duloxetine ( brand name Cymbalta) is an anti depressant by development but it helps with neuropathy pain. I've also suffered light headedness/dizziness with my neuropathy and I believe this is also starting to make me feel less like a bobble head. Crossing fingers.
I am taking 600 mg Gabapentin 3x per day but miss a dose occasionally and want to know if it is ok to take my doses earlier than 8 hrs a part so I can get my 3 doses in and not lose a dose or I’ll start having burning in my feet.

Check with the doctor who prescribed it, but first look at the directions that the doctor had the pharmacy print on the label. Does it instruct you to take it every 8 hours, or simply 3 times a day? I take Pregabalin and seldom does it work for me to schedule taking my doses exactly 8 hours apart. But I do take it 3 times a day.
Yep. Diagnosis of small fibre neuropathy. So painful and crippling. Still chasing appropriate treatment. Hoping to try spinal cord stimulation. Difficult to convince specialists to implement. Have a new doctor to see soon. Trying abstinence from alcohol. Only just getting by with Palexia for the pain.

I have non diabetic neuropathy and was excited to see stimulators for feet. Ended up with not one but two scams through NOORO. Reluctant to try another. Has anyone had success with feet stimulators from other companies?
Through my chiropractor, I purchased a rather expensive electrostimulator. The method of use is to place your feet into a water bath with each foot on a separate partition (I just use table salt to ensure conductivity). Two electropads are placed, one in each partition, and the machine is turned on. You can adjust the intensity of the elec. The treatment lasts 30 minutes. I have also tried different feet stimulators, but this one, although expensive, is the best i've found. The fact that your feet are in water ensures that the electrostimulation is distributed all over your feet and not just on the bottom. The machine is sold by "Rebuilder Medical". I also use this machine on my knees for OA.
