Well, MPNs are indeed blood cancers, and the JAK2-driver is associated with one of the MPNs, ET.

But only your oncologist can diagnose your individual situation.

MPNs are "chronic" cancers, not acute cancers like lung or breast cancer. They are rare and most people (even a lot of doctors) have never heard of them. Fortunately, effective and inexpensive treatments are available.

MPNs should be taken seriously, but many on this forum have been living with this diagnosis for decades.
