Today I'm grateful for... (add yours below)
1. This wisdom of this community (and the encouragement and shared experience). 2. Seeing the stars when I go to radiation at 7am, then the sunrise on my way home. 3. Homemade biscuits with tons of sausage gravy (because calories, and I'm still early in treatment) 4. Excellent medical care and a community of faith that prays with me and for me every day.

My recent petscan was good. Grateful!
The support I had from family and friends. Being able to enjoy a good meal and a martini again. Wearing my good clothes just because. And finally-finding peace in things that pre-cancer would have sent me reeling.
I clear mammogram and a great massage to help with the lymphedema and fibrosis in my neck. Yup a fine, fine day.
Grateful for God almighty seeing me through this experience, as well as my family, friends, and you all as a support system. May God bless every one of you!!
Amen to dressing up, fine meals, and martinis!
Amen to all this Grace! I am so thankful for my doctors, especially for my ENT/plastic surgeon. He is young (39) but incredibly skilled. I look forward to my appointments, as he is so kind and encouraging. He also did a FANTASTIC job on my nose reconstruction—I have received so many compliments on my face. My merkel cell carcinoma is serious stuff, but this 71-year old is still singing and active—life is good!
