For mild/moderate COPD, does Mullein tea/tincture help clear lungs?

Background-RLower lobectomy 8 months ago Stage 1A NCLC w/mild to moderate COPD/Emphazima (not being treated for). I guess I'm still having post surgery effects from lobectomy as far as right rib discomfort, chest tightness, but experiencing some shortness of breath depending on what I'm doing, so I guess I attribute that to the surgery, but also the COPD. I was a smoker for decades, & I still smoke 4-6 a day after no success with patches. Has anyone used Mullein to loosen mucus & to clear lungs, help with breathing etc? You can use it as a tea or a tincture. I want to try it, but am wondering for COPD, have you tried it? I want it to be safe, but effective

No I don’t. I rinse my organic lemons, depit them, slice them into small slices including rind, and put in my food processor. Remove. Then take organic (if I can fine it) ginger rinse and slice into small pieces, pit into processor, remove. Same for small pieces of pineapple. Mix lemon, ginger and pineapple. Mix 1 tbl lemon 1/8 tsp ginger, 2tbl pineapple (bromelein) and freeze in ice cube tray. Melt one cube daily and add to water twice a day. I’ll also add a drop of organic oil of oregano at times. Awaiting my organic oil of mullein. For now I take two organic tabs of organic oil of oregano 4000 mg each.

There is other anecdotal info about mucus and breathing using herbs etc.

Thanks, that is a good thing to know. Have you ever tried it?

Yes, it’s very strong stuff and stings the nose if you put more than 2 drops in! I don’t think it gave any immediate relief so have now tried a diffuser for a couple of hours at night time.

I tried a few oregano drops in my diffuser for a couple of hours in bedroom before sleep. In morning I woke and could take a deeper breath in.
