Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?
I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

Thanks for sharing your experience, shiver. I'm glad you found that it works for you. I'll give it a try. Just to clarify, you're talking about N-Acetyl Choline and not N-Acetyl Cysteine, also known as NAC? I'm having some difficulty finding N-Acetyl Choline supplement online.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention Gariston. You are right it is Cysteine and is also called NAC for short. The print on these things is so small today, and I knew once upon a time what it was but somehow got choline in my head instead of Cysteine. I can't believe how effective this is. If only everything else had good side effects instead of bad ones. I really hope it works for you.

Redladyjoni, I am reaching out to those I contacted in an attempt to edit my own post. It is N-Acetyl Cysteine or NAC that one has to put into search engine to see the benefits of this one little all natural supplement that stopped my internal tremors.

Have you gone to an allergist and had testing? I am asking because I am experiencing the vibrations etc. The last 5 months I have had so many test done with no answers. Last night I read your post and many others. Knowing there are others with these symptoms eases my mind I no longer feel alone or Crazy. I took one of my husbands Zyrtec pills last night. When I woke up my toes were not twitching! I still have full body vibrations and leg muscle spasms but my toes had stopped. I am meeting my GP today and will be discussing this with her. I just wanted an update from you please.
I am so thankful to read that I am not the only that has endured this unique symptom. Thank you for posting about your journeys and helpful information. For me, in 2020, I had gone to my doctor for an increasing amount of numbness in my legs. It had started years prior in my left leg and then in 2020, my right. I have FSHD1 so I just assumed it was the muscular dystrophy progressing. But I had some other very strange nerve glitches through the years. I am a professional pianist and would be playing the piano and my arm and hand would literally turn off in the middle of a song and I could not move it for a few seconds. Long story short, my doctor prescribed a muscle relaxer and steroid. After taking the meds and sleeping, the next morning I woke up and I was vibrating from my waste down to my toes. Noise would echo through my body and if I moved or touched my leg, it was like a rubber band bouncing back and forth. At times, it felt like I had a lawnmower in me or that I was connect to an electrical socket. Certain kinds of music and noise made it worse. But as I was researching, I read a little more about sound frequencies and since I am a musician, began listening and playing music tuned to different healing frequencies and this would calm down the tremors. Then I learned about 'earthing" and anytime the vibrations would be terrible, I would go sit on the ground with my shoes off and walk around barefoot, and within 30 minutes, the tremors would become peaceful as if I was being tuned to a greater frequency. It was quite remarkable. I learned that exercise and walking even though I was hurting and weak and felt bruised to the touch, I had to make myself walk with hiking sticks to avoid atrophy. I read more about MS and put myself on a protocol of eating a lot of raw produce and lean protein to see if it would help. Overall, I have found a lot of benefit from eating healthy. I make protein smoothies with minimal sugar- just enough berries and banana with lots of greens and cabbage, and vanilla collagen protein powder and add creatine, ground flax seed with kombucha and walnut or almond milk and sometimes, coconut yogurt. Wild salmon and fish are very good. Supplements I have found to help me that I take twice a day (Life extension)- magnesium, Omega 3 vitamin. D, Lipoic Acid, Vitamin. B Complex, and now am taking a probiotic and some herbal supplements recommended by my natural doctor who does muscle testing. I was also in the habit of not drinking enough water so I increased my water intake. In 2020, I quit 2 of my most stressful jobs. I was very blessed to have a husband and family to help me. It was not easy but I could no longer function normally. I learned that STRESS was a HUGE factor. It was as if I was allergic to stress. So now, I still have chronic lower back pain that never really goes away and sometimes it is intense and other times it does not bother me too much. I still have numbness in my left foot. I have learned that alcohol worsens my condition so I have had to cut my daily glass of wine to special occasions only. Prayer, worship, and peace are the best medicine in my life and not allowing stress to get to me as well as being very mindful of what thoughts I was thinking in my head. I also have found that the luxury of a pool, is very helpful and very good PT. Since 2020, I have only had one other major attack. When I have these tremors and nerve attacks, they usually last about 6 months and then taper down a bit. I do still have tingling at night time depending on stress factors and time spent on the computer or eating unhealthily. I hope this is helpful information. I will do my best to pray for anyone that asks me on this forum. Thank you taking the time to read this comment.
Yes i have internal vibrations, i have Cervical Myelopathy, and ischemia to the brain stem from many years of cervical compression of the spinal cord, after decompression surgery 7 years ago, I was left with upper motor neuron signal changes, I have Hyperreflexia and Clonus, i take Baclofen for muscle spasms, I've tried Gabapentin but because my balance has been affected it makes everything worse, I've just in the last few months had Tinnitus and vibrations non stop, everything seems heightened.
Thanks for sharing some of the things that have helped you. I only have essential tremors, which, compared to the other types of neurological conditions, seem to be not as bad, but I do get internal tremors as well. My tremors are mostly activated by movement and maintaining a position, but since being diagnosed, I have noticed that stress also makes it worse. The literature I have read said that it is worse on your weaker side, and I have noticed my left side is worse, so I am trying to focus my strength training on my left side. The literature also said there is a link with anxiety. I know my brother would say his MS symptoms would be worse with stress and anxiety. So, being healthier in general has helped me. As if getting older wasn't enough. I know that for some conditions like MS, some doctors will start a patient on HRT therapy since menopause has been showm to make symptoms worse. But that just started and is still undergoing research. I am going to try the earthing/grounding. Just practicing mindfulness has helped. I think too much, and I am in a constant state of fix-it mode, which is not helpful 90% of the time. I had the tingling, too, but that was due to the chronic inflammation I started right after menopause in my feet and legs. I am still working on the inflammation, which has not been diagnosed, but it is not related to essential tremors or menopause (per the doctors). Walking and avoiding foods that cause inflammation, such as sugar and alcohol, has been the biggest help, and I no longer have the tingling. It really is true; you cannot get away with anything health-wise after 50!
Are you aware that long covid can cause internal tremors. I have had them for a year now. They started off severe. I would be lying in bed and it would literally feel like there was someone under the bed kicking up. Scared me. During my research it says that MS, essential tremor ( where the hands and or head shake) I only have the internal tremors, Parkinsons disease are the most common causes. I have not been tested. I don't want to be tested really because if I have a disease they will want to put me on drugs and I hate taking meds. Most times the side effects are worse than the symptoms of the disease. Occasionally they are so quiet that I hardly notice them. They are worse when I am still,,,but then of course when I am up and moving around my body doesn't notice them. I had covid' back in 2020 or '21...and these only started last winter, so I am also perplexed.

I started this thread, being the person that kept waking up throughout the night to a vibrating bed, and thinking it was my dog shivering and kept covering him up. Took him to the vet and found out he was a healthy little boy and then became very aware of what was happening. My upper torso was vibrating from within. I had never heard of such a thing and was up at 3 a.m. looking online and was shocked to find this actually existed.
I have never had covid, nor did I take the vaccinations. Completely by accident, however, I found something that stopped the internal vibrations, medically referred to as benign essential tremors.
Several years ago an ultrasound ordered by my PA when I went in for pain on my right side, came back with at "thickening" of part of my liver. I refused the prescription ordered and went online to find alternative support for the liver. I found a pill called Liverwell, and a liquid called VitaLiver. I took the VitaLiver first, and the pain was gone within 10 days, but I also found out that liquid really thins the blood, as I was bruising without reason.
I stopped that and started taking the Liverwell, and when I went back for follow-ups the swelling in the liver was gone.
That pain in my right side returned shortly after I realized the vibrating bed was me and not my little dog. I went online and ordered more Liverwell AND THE FIRST DAY I took it, I was balancing my checkbook (Yes, some of us still do that,) and realized I had not felt any tremors for some time. Then I became very aware throughout the day and there were NONE. I woke up the next morning to very small vibrations, but the bed was no longer vibrating. The third morning there was nothing. I did notice if I don't drink enough water throughout the day that I may feel slight tremors.
Liverwell has 800 mg of NAC, N-Acetyl Cysteine, which used to be prescription, but in 2022 the FDA allowed it to be used in supplements. It used to be used to treat Parkinson's, as well as numerous other conditions. The tremors were gone and stayed gone. I went out and purchased the NAC alone which is much cheaper but it tore my stomach up something fierce in 3 days, using a lesser dose then what was in the Liverwell, so I went back to the Liverwell, after my stomach healed. I was off the Liverwell for 3 weeks before I felt slight tremors returning. I got back on it and I have stayed on it and no tremors since. I don't know if this will work for others but it certainly worked for me. Tremor free.
I think it was worth it to go to a neurologist. Just knowing has helped me with essential tremors. And they won't put you on medication if you do not want to. I went that route. The doctor joked and said see you in ten years because since I am 53 now, probably in ten years, I will need medication since my coping mechanisms will not be enough. Knowing what makes the tremors worse has been a big help, and ruling out MS since my brother had it. Many of these neurological conditions progress and worsen as you age, so knowing would be helpful, but everyone is different. For me, it has actually been a relief since they were able to rule out MS.
