What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

Woody does show up once in awhile and he's a real treat to see 🙃
WOW!!! That's awesome, John.
So, Woody really does exist!!! 😄
I definitely never saw in real life one that looked like that.
John, you are giving me a good experience and education today.
Much appreciated! I love it when I learn something new.
Me too! I try and learn at least one new thing a day. Unfortunately it sometimes ends up being something that I have learned before 😂
Ditto!
Hi, John.
I checked out your YouTube channel and it looks like you really love birds. You have some awesome videos posted. I especially like the ones of mama birds feeding their young. And one particular one I like is the baby birds looking and waiting for their mama to come feed them. They are so focused and their beaks are wide open. Oh, the anticipation...😀🐦
That Robin’s nest is in the rafters of my front porch 🙂. They come every spring.
You apparently have made them feel very welcome. 😊
@johnbishop, @my44, and all... My goodness, John! You keep on surprising and uplifting and educating me and improving my life! Bless you!
Your woody is so enthusiastic, excited for his treat!!!!! Really going after it.
I was truly thrilled and blessed yesterday with the woody relative out my bedroom 2nd floor window in my live oak I view all day. He flew to the lowest huge limb, pecked around and I think he was saying 'hello' to me as his old friend. I do miss him and am so glad found my tree. Made my day!

Oh, Elizabeth! I'm so glad that your feathered friend returned, and you were able to see him. I know you said the other day that you couldn't feed them like you used to, and you missed seeing him. But look, he made a special trip...not just up to the second floor, but right outside your bedroom window. Apparently, he missed you, too, and stopped by to say "Hello." 😊
I'm so happy for you!
I used to live in a rural area and had a 180 degree an unobstructed view of an famous mountain range 15 to 20 miles away. Then I moved to be near a sick relative in a larger city far away. Now my view is depressing with drug activity around. Thankfully this will change soon. It feels good to post this because I have been in hell here.
