Tinnitus and severe vertigo

Posted by jandroid @jandroid, Jan 5, 2023

The tinnitus is making me crazy. The vertigo started last night. Has anyone experienced worsening migraines since COVID? I had mine under control by avoiding cheese and processed foods. I was positive for COVID the day after Thanksgiving. The one time I went without a mask in an Uber I got COVID.

I’m 56 got tinnitus & vertigo with Covid in 4/20. The vertigo went away but the tinnitus stayed. Just a ton of crappy symptoms where there isn’t a cure. I’m probably overall 1/3 better after 20 rounds of therapies. Recovery is slow & depressing. So tired of drugs & doctors. A product called Tranont a probiotic, gut health drink has helped the most. But it is expensive. Good luck

Now I’m only having 2 a week instead of every day. Just a ton of crappy symptoms where there isn’t a cure. I’m probably overall 1/3 better after 20 rounds of therapies. Recovery is slow & depressing. I got covid just before the vaccine became available (Nov 2020) and there after got Tinnitis, dizziness and an inability to walk much. I have been to a dozen doctors from local to Cleveland Clinic (could never get into Mayo). My tinnitis is constant and getting louder. I would love to hear how others got it under control.

i had covid almost 2 years ago, (i did have the shot and the booster before getting covid) 2 weeks after getting over covid i started getting dizzy, it would come and go, a short time later it seemed like i was hearing a loud crunching sound in my left ear, it sounded like someone was wadding aluminum foil in my ear. i then started getting more and more dizzy, it was so bad i could barely walk to the kitchen to make coffee in the morning, i had to hang onto the wall to get anywhere, i was actually at a doctors app with my husband (the app was for him) i became so dizzy i almost fell out of the chair, the doctor had me sent to the ER where they did a ct scan and determined i had vertigo. the vertigo became worse and worse, i could sit still and my head would just spin, sometimes as often as 10 times or more per min. my doctor had an MRI ordered for me , and nothing was amiss there, i was given some meds which just about put me to sleep, i couldnt drive for several months, my left ear continued on with the never ending concert, i actually wasnt to excited about living by then. i had to have music or the tv on all the time to try to drown out the noise from my ear. i went to rehab for the vertigo. finally after 9 months of this i was watching tv one night and i said my ear
has quit making that awful sound, and just as suddenly my vertigo went away and i havent been troubled with it anymore. at the age of 72 now i can say this is the worse health issue i had ever had!
