Penis Shrinkage with no other issues?
Ok, I am new to being old...lol. I have read through these forums and those that appear to have an issue of this type talk about cancer, surgeries, and all of that type of stuff. I have never had this huge penis but you could at least notice it was there. I did go to the urologist for a little help since it just didn't work like it used to. He gave me the little yellow pill but I didn't really see much difference, it still worked most of the time like it had been. In the last year or so, it seems to have shrunk quite a bit. I think it would now qualify as a micro penis, where it never would have before. It actually now looks as though it is uncircumcised and I can't think of any other way to say it other than it seems to have just withdrawn inside. I take the lowest dose of blood pressure meds available and have for about 3 years now. I weigh roughly the same as I always did, I recently lost weight but don't see a difference. My exams and bloodwork always come back fine. Does it just get that much smaller with age? Honestly, I have to kind of push in and pull it out to even get it to come out to urinate. The urologist didn't look at it but just kind of shrugged me off when I mentioned it. He is a pretty highly rated doctor but didn't seem like he was either concerned or didn't believe me. You can google it but all the results I find are from the places that can add a foot to it and so forth, so I really can't get any honest information. Is there anything I can do or are those fun days over and I am just stuck with a micro now? I am not a nutcase and am truly serious, I can tell it is just nowhere near the size it used to be, which was only about 5 inches, but it was my 5 inches. I sometimes wish I had pictures of it from 4 or 5 years ago to compare to now so people don't think I am crazy. Thoughts?

Your penis shrinks as you age simple fact. If you have chronic ED then it will shrink even faster. See the correct dr. meaning a dr. of sexual medicine not just a urologist .. start using a VED with his approval and then figure out if oral meds or shots will be the first step in dealing with it. I have 9 years on you age wise. Started of the aging journey normally till a stroke in 2022 stopped all erections and lost my libido. Tried the shots to no avail, and the pills. I used a VED for 6 weeks before my penile implant surgery. I had a Rigicon mallable penile implant put in 6-2023 one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Good luck to you do something besides come on here and talk about what you don't have. Help is available to you and others ..
You need to see a urologist whose subspecialty is sexual health. A large teaching hospital might be a good place to start for this specific issue. I’m not surprised your PCP shined you on. We are all of different size and shape and you have to accept what you were born with.
I am 60 next week and this just started a month ago. When flaccid, it is now so small and feels like it has no blood in it. It is hard to pee because there is barely enough left to hold on to.
Not to mention, I used to walk around with pride. Now I feel like everybody can see I have nothing down there anymore. I still get elections, although that seems to have gone from 6" to 5". Please tell me this is temporary!!!!
Were you able to recover your libido? I have lost most of mine, although I would love to be able to be intimate with my wife again. I can please her, but I have no real feelings of sexual arousal. Any help will be received with gratitude.
Part of aging but have you had your testosterone checked? I have done shots and creams to raise mine. I think it will help if you have low T as they say. I have some of the same issues at 73 but not doing low T at the time. When I did at 67 I felt stronger and more alive with at times getting my youth like erections back. I now have the same results as you describe when urinating.
I might suggest having your prostate evaluated for its size (volume). At 100cc mine had the effect you are experiencing.
skoobydoom,
Don't know if this will help you but in the past year I began to lose my libido, not completely but enough that it concerned me since I have always had a very strong libido. My urologist checked my testosterone levels and I was just barely in the normal range for total testosterone but on the low end of the spectrum for free testosterone. After discussing with him the fact that I was tired a lot also he suggested we try testosterone pellets. I indicated to him I would like this but would like the smallest dosage to which he agreed. I am now 5 weeks post pellet implantation and my libido has returned like it was years ago. I am almost 80 years old and I have noticed that my penis may have shrunk approximately 1/4 in if quite that much, which does not bother me as I am still able to perform and satisfy my wife, who is almost 12 years younger than me. My erections with testosterone pellets same to be as rigid as they were years ago. I do have some coronary artery disease and I discussed this with my urologist who indicated the chances based on the latest studies of complications or 1% or less. I was willing to take the small risk. Good luck.
