My wife was in the local ER just yesterday after three days like that. CT scan, blood labs, all came back negative. Urgent MRI this afternoon. Still all a mystery. And it's not the first time it has happened. I recall three other episodes over the past three years, but they've all resolved inside of a day or two and have been neglected. Not this time.
Hi,
I experience this from time to time with varying degrees of incapacity. I normally use the full width of a footpath and wait for the day I get caught being drunk in charge of the footpath, it is so pronounced. When I have a bad episode I struggle to stay upright with walking sticks, let alone walk. Had all the tests and bloods done with nothing discovered. MRI came back with low Sella and small vessel disease which could also impact on my walking. I do have Dysautonomia which likely accounts for it. I can be walking and have my left legs fail to take the next step and over I go, always the left leg. The brain has re-educated itself and I can usually catch myself with just a stumble. Fortunately I'm learning to live with it.
Cheers

I have gait impact and it is tied to my cervical spine and myelopathy compression injury of spinal cord at c5-c6. Have you had an accident or fall//injury? Have you had a mri of your cervical spine by an orthopedic spine specialist or neurologist or neurosurgeon? Have you had bloodwork done by a rheumatologist? Have you had EMG nerve conduction studies of your upper and lower limbs by a neurologist?
