Anyone been prescribed Ohtuvayre (new med)? Your experience?
Has anyone been prescribed the new COPD medication by their treatment team....Ohtuvayre? Just wondering if it now active, how it is effecting patients and how well it does/doesn't work

3 ReactionsI have been taking it for 60 days and it seems to be helping me. It is breaking up the excess mucus/phlegm so I can cough it up.

3 ReactionsResults so far from so many I have communicated with have bee poor, no results etc. Makes you wonder what the FDA was thinking and even more all the hype!
I am soo disappointed! It sounded so promising.

3 ReactionsI too am concerned with the information that I have read on the lack of response for those that have COPD. Such big Hype, over nothing. FDA should be ashamed of themselves. No there is no one to trust.

1 ReactionI'm a little concerned re the hype and such that surrrounded Ohtuvayre as I have not heard many positive remarks and outstanding results that have occurred. The literature doe not address at what point one could experience in breathing easier, when one should expect improvement etc. Did the FDA truly scrutinize this medication before approval I think it was alot of hype.....especially after Dupixent was approved as well with those with copd, however only if they too had type II inflammation.

2 ReactionsPrescribed it , used it 6 weeks, crashed. Three days in hospital. Back, more or less normal. Not definite it was O2 etc.
Yes, on 6 weeks. Crashed. Four days in hospital. More or less on old meds, back to normal. Not really definite was O2, but off. And never saw an effect of any kind.
