Get a second opinion. Different doctors sometimes have different approaches to the same type of cancer. Also, check the guidelines for your specific type of cancer at https://www.nccn.org/
What does your current oncologist say?

Keep fighting as hard as it is. I was treated at Mayo and never have had a reoccurrence. Thank the Lord. My doctor explained it to me that you have to kill it all so it can’t come back. Stay strong and give it your best fight. Cancer loves sugar. Do what you have to to give it your best fight. God bless you.🙏🙏

@shali2524 It sounds to me that you are looking for more options in how to treat your recurrence of ovarian cancer. You did mention getting another opinion. Have you explored that as an option? Will your doctor refer you somewhere else for another opinion?

If you'd like to self-refer to Mayo Clinic here is the link you can use.

@shali2524 We cannot answer your questions about whether or not Mayo Clinic will take your insurance. First of all I suggest you call your health care insurance company and ask if Mayo Clinic is covered under your plan. The phone is probably located on the back of your insurance card.

You may be able to figure out if Mayo Clinic takes your insurance by checking on this page. Or you can call also Mayo Clinic yourself and ask those questions. There are three different Mayo Clinic campuses so you should first decide if you are interested in going to Florida, Minnesota, or Arizona. Here is where you can call Mayo Clinic:

Will you please let me know what you find out?

Don’t give up. Have faith 🙏
I understand your feelings.
You have to be as aggressive if not more to fight it. I do believe the care you get is important. You have to be strong, keep your immune system strong to fight the cancer. I know back 22 years ago when I was diagnosed, I had the debulking surgery at
Mayo. I did the chemo and not clinical trials because I did what worked. It was the carboplatin and taxol. I was sicker than a dog. I wanted to give up. Back then they told you not to do any supplements. I really didn’t understand. I just wanted to stay alive. I lived on colostrum. I drank the essiac cancer tea daily. I did a liver care supplement. I tried to stay away from sugar cause cancer loves sugar. I believe if they can get all the cancer and you stay strong enough to keep it away you can beat it. Keep trying. A good attitude helps as well. Have faith and lots of hope. Don’t give up and keep giving it your best fight. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
