Neuropathy: What works and what are scams?
I am new to this forum although I have been suffering with peripheral neuropathy for 2 years (none diabetic). Like most sufferers I have searched endlessly to find supplements that provide some relief and a possible cure. My search has proved how impossible this quest is and so expensive due to misleading adverts and down right scams.
What would be really helpful if members posted their experiences with supplements they’ve tried , which were useless/helpful or obvious scams. I am sure there must be some helpful supplements out there and we would all benefit if these were posted on this forum.

What is anyone’s best recommend for a vitamin supplements to take for peripheral neuropathy…..numbness, pain and tingling in my feet 👣?

I purchased a program from NexGenHealth that offers a self treatment program for $6400 for neuropathy. I have been on the program for four months and have not experienced any noticeable change in my condition. Did you have the PRP injections? If so, what were the results?
I have started taking Organic CBD oil (50 ml. daily) and it has relieved the burning in my feet at night so I can sleep.

Did you do your due diligence and check this NexGenHealth thing out? It sounds like one of the many scams out there claiming to help neuropathy. $6400 is a lot of money. I am guessing that insurance did not cover it. That's the usual case with these things. I hope you can get some of your money back.

3 Reactions@michhino there is no cure. That’s an absolute. Don’t let anyone promise you a miracle cure, there isn’t one.
Unfortunately, scammers know we are in pain and will invent a “pie in the sky” cure.
Try Aspercream lotion. It helps take the edge off.

1 ReactionCan the Aspercream lotion be used on hands? I have severe pins and needles with terrible numbness in them and nothing I’ve tried seems to help this. My hands feel so strange. It’s like they have a coating on them. It’s best described like when you bread a chicken leg and there are crumbs all over them. That’s how my hands feel. I had chemo treatments a little over four years ago and my body took on an autoimmune illness GBS. This did so much damage to my hands and feet that they are irreparable now so any potions and lotion that would work I’ve pretty much tried them all except the Aspercream lotion.
Yes, I did as much research as possible. NexGen was honest about not guaranteeing resolution. Insurance did not cover the treatment. I will not get any of my money back. They are offering a PRP treatment, injections in my feet, which might offer some resolution. My loss I realize. I think this is the case with so many people who suffer from unresolved pain. NexGen's office is filled with patients waiting or signing up for treatment.
It’s always difficult to find reputable treatments. I remember my original pain specialist telling me about PRP eight years ago. It seems as if the treatments may have some positive results. Perhaps insurance will cover it one day. I hope it works for you.
This may sound a little strange but I am using a CVS Pharmacy product called:
Hemorrhoidal Relief Cream. Like Aspercreme it contains Lidocaine.
But it contains 5% whereas Aspercreme is 4%. My neuropathy is mainly
in my legs below the knee, so I creme up and am getting some relief.
