Has anyone or is anyone having a successful dating life while battling anxiety?

That is a tough one, dating by itself can cause anxiety, and if you have anxiety that is not under control, it may make it worse. On the other hand, if under control, you should be able to purse a normal relationship.

In my personal experience, I fear rejection, so opening myself up to dating that might lead to perceived rejection is hard. Noticed I mentioned perceived rejection, sometimes it is not rejection, it just normal day to day interactions. Be very careful, you may be vulnerable, do not let anyone take advantage of you.

If you see a therapist, might be good discussion to have.

I did find a few articles that provides some good advice.

The both emphasis being positive and confident.

How do plan on starting the dating process, know someone you're interested in or thinking about online dating?

I began dating someone that I already knew. We had dated many years ago and got back together. It made it easier with my anxiety.

Thank you so much for your response. I still communicate with an ex who I thought about trying it again with. But I feel need to wait a while longer and also as you mentioned, talk with my therapist first. Didn’t even think about that.
