SVT and PVCs

I've had SVT episodes for years and PVCs. Been on metoprolol for the whole time. Still have the episodes. I've talked about ablation with the doc. He didn't push it but said it was an option. My heart rate baseline is usually in the low 60s. But had to go to ER last SVT episode because I couldn't break it myself. Got adenosine and since then my heart rate has been in the 50s. Going to try ablation after the first of the year. Anybody?

I had my ablation procedure in Dec of 2017 and I have not had one single episode of AFIB since that time. But as they say everybody is different.

I was diagnosed with SVT in November of 2023 and was put on Metoprolol 25 mg. I was still having episodes so I decided to have an ablation and the procedure was done two days ago. The procedure was easy and my doctor says I should not have any more episodes. Praying that its all fixed now!!

Good to hear. Had this for years. So finally decided to do the ablation. But since my last episode my heart rate is now in the 50s and its usually in the 60s.

50's is not SVT, svt is a high heart rate
