Has anyone else experienced high pulse rates after having Covid?

I recently had Covid after testing negative I am experiencing high pulse rates. Because of this I am experiencing anxiety. It is really effecting my life at this point. I’m wondering how long this can last.

@mosey1

Did you take any medication while it was high?

mosey1, No, I did not. The cardiologist told me she could put me on something if the palpitations and high heart rate continued to be bothersome, but, I opted not to take anything since all of my tests came back normal and the fact that I am so sensitive to medication. I already battled palpitations due to thyroid disease.

It's a good idea to get your heart checked just in case COVID may have caused some issues then you will know what is going on.

It just took a while for the high heart rate to come down.....about 3 months.

I pray you get relief soon.

Update for me. Finally got some answers after two ER hospital visits. My sodium levels where at a dangerous levels. One more point down and I would have to been admitted for intervention . I naturally have lower levels. But not hardly eating for weeks and pushing fluids leached all my sodium out. I have been taking in salt like crazy and my high pulse rate and high blood pressure are adjusting👍. If you have these issues get your sodium levels checked.❤️❤️
