@connie1954, I have posted on this subject quite some time ago. I learned at Mayo Clinic that I have BMS; however, no treatment was suggested. So, I just suffered and let ice melt in my mouth and held my cold hands over my lips. Of course, the inside of my mouth burned like heck. Finally, my dentist suggested that I go to our local dental school. I dropped a name of someone I knew who taught there and was immediately seen by the oral pathologist. He was kind and said only one thing he could offer that had helped some of his patients was Clonazepam. Bingo! I take 0.5 mg, two daily, one with lunch and one with dinner. This doctor saved my life! He came out to meet my husband and never sent a bill! I do not think this condition will ever go away, but I have relief from the Clonazepam. At least ask your doctor about this approach. It worked for me. With all good wishes, @joybringer 1.

How long have you been ob this drug and have you had any negative side effects. Has it really relieved you BMS?
You may have life-threatening withdrawal symptoms if you stop using the medicine suddenly after long-term use. Some withdrawal symptoms may last up to 12 months or longer.

Thanks
