Thanks! Those are the ones! I may have one more. I have no idea the quality of the journals, but if other people do, that would be good to know.
Hello I have elevated Free Kappa Light Chains (polyclonal so far) and I have had 2 Migraine Aurals happen to me. Very, very scary at first. Were you Polyclonal before the M-spike happened by any chance. But yes, there may be a connection I’m thinking.
I was wondering how high it is. Mine is elevated too
LD4 is Lactase Dehydrogenase 4 which specifically looks for it in skeletal tissue & liver tissue.
I have an elevated Kappa number and a ratio. I also have a slightly elevated m spike. I notice have been having balance problems
I've had balance problems since December 2023 and I have had every blood test and test done and my kappa was high but they said it was ok ..if it's high it's not ok 😕
My balance dr just said to not show my blood test to my oncologist 😭.
I don't have an oncologist..
But I have inquired at mayo clinic and I will be sending all my paperwork to them
Does this sound familiar 🤔 I'm tired of this and just want to know answers
Good luck with Mayo. I was denied by them but I know others who got in.
I was wondering what your Kappa if you’re ok with sharing it.
I have the same as you. I am having some balance problems too. Not sure if it’s the MGUS or meds I am taking. I am on some new medication.
Kappa can be high and not have to be addressed but M spike means you may be progressing from MGUS to worse diagnosis. Keep trying to get seen at Mayo. They do the most bone marrow biopsies do it doesn’t hurt much.
