Anyone have vertigo?

I've had vertigo for 40+ years. I do believe it is a condition that qualifies for disability. I have to be very careful about how I turn. Have to close my eyes when I go through a car wash because the sensation of me rolling once those spinners start moving will have me puking. I jumped out of bed too fast one night because I thought I smelled smoke and that ruined my day. It put me in bed for 3 days once. The only thing that will fix it is sleep. I take meclizine and Zofran for naseau. I have had it so bad I threw up. I guess I could see an audiologist and see if there's a malformation within the ear that's causing it. I also have tinnitus very bad.

I do have me the meclizine and something for nausea. I don’t think if you’ve had those problems for 40 years you should now be thinking about seeing an audiologist. I had a hearing test a couple of years ago but except for minor hearing loss no problems. I am 77 and this was only my 2nd episode of vertigo. As I child I always got carsick and I still can in certain situations; no boats for me either. I hope you find something to help you
