Micro dosing?

Posted by dawg @dawg, Nov 13 8:15am

I’ll leave this to the monitors to decide if appropriate. Time magazine and a couple of other sources have reported on individuals micro dosing with “magic mushrooms” (levels less than that which would bring a high) who have had significant results in clearing symptoms. I have an acquaintance who is involved (and testified before Congress) in similar studies for PTSD in veterans. Mushrooms are legal in Oregon and decriminalized elsewhere. I’m not there yet, but anyone have any experience or have any information regarding micro dosing of mushrooms for LC?

Intriguing, although living where I do, that would not even be a(n) (legal) option for me.

Technically not legal for me either, but here use of psychedelic mushrooms comes with a civil fine, less than a traffic ticket. Certainly not encouraging anyone to got his route if uncomfortable. Our government has been slow over the years to do adequate research on medical uses of cannabis and other substances out of fear. And this is coming from someone from a law enforcement background who ran numerous drugs investigations.

There have been several studies showing that microdosing mushrooms have significantly reduced symptoms of LHC, why our government is not allowing this to gain FDA approval boggles me.
I assume it cheap so that negates the cost vs effectiveness 🤷‍♀️
