@labcoris I have given you the link to Mayo Clinic’s information on atopic dermatitis. I plan to enter that link also.

Many doctors have decided to go with the new biologics, mine included. It sure beats taking prednisone forever. I’m tapering the prednisone now and should be off of it by January 1. The stories of prednisone long term problems can be quite true. I’ve really noticed muscle weakness so now I’m doing exercises to get my strength back. And, also the need to cover up in the sun in order to avoid skin cancer, which prednisone makes more possible.
Now, let’s let some of the members tell you their experiences!

Thank you @becsbuddy for gathering Connect members who are hoping to learn more about Dupixent. I have been using Dupixent injections every other week for three years. All I can tell you is that my quality of life depends on Dupixent. My dermatologist worked very hard to make sure that I would qualify for the self-injections to eradicate my miserable case of atopic dermatitis and internal neuropathic itch.

My body had such a negative reaction that I would just pass out. One day my life partner was using a solution to clean the kitchen cupboards. I responded to his request to take him something in the kitchen and the vapor knocked me out.

You can call and talk to their medical staff as well as the research experts. The product is already in a pen and the injections work best in your thigh.

May you find comfort and relief.
