I suffer from the Autoimmune disease of Bullous Pemphigoid. I am really tired of constantly being on prednisone. My Dr would like me to try DUPIXENT. I hate needles but I am ready to try. Any thoughts on how this works? Any information would be appreciated!

@labcoris I have given you the link to Mayo Clinic’s information on atopic dermatitis. I plan to enter that link also.

Many doctors have decided to go with the new biologics, mine included. It sure beats taking prednisone forever. I’m tapering the prednisone now and should be off of it by January 1. The stories of prednisone long term problems can be quite true. I’ve really noticed muscle weakness so now I’m doing exercises to get my strength back. And, also the need to cover up in the sun in order to avoid skin cancer, which prednisone makes more possible.
Now, let’s let some of the members tell you their experiences!
