It sounds like a terrible reaction. I have chosen not to take any of tge meds offered. The side effects would have severly altered my life. I have to be alert for my husband as I am the caregiver. I know for some will think this is not a great choice. But it is my choice. Thank you for letting me share.

My endocrinologist has set me up for a second infusion next June! I’ve been dealing with the side effects from my first infusion. There are nights I wake 6-7 times unable to move my upper limbs without severe pain. As the day goes on the pain lessons, only to return the following night. It is as though this happens when my limbs go into a relaxation mode and as the day goes by and I’m busy the pain subsides. I felt like I was injected by something that caused wicked inflammation! Good luck to all of us in our future endeavors! Stay healthy!
