Night sweats and crashing
It seems Long COVID oof mine is worsening. I have been fatigued the past 2 days, then slept soooo hard with my COVID sweats ( a certain scent) for 36 hours. All that preceded this was simple housework.
Felt like one step forward and 10 steps back.
Oh- also I should mention weird COVID dreams.
Anyone else have a relapse type episode like this????
Thank you

I’m getting ready to start HBT on Monday. Can I ask how many treatments you’ve had? Thanks.
OMG I thought it was just me with the weird smell!!! I’ve been dealing with long covid since 12/23 and just this past summer could NOT STAND my own smell!!!! Have you tried anything that helps? I just shower more often and use a body spray but I am sooo tired of it. I’ve never really dealt with BO before so this is really grossing me out
My thyroid went to, I’ve been sick since November 2022. I didn’t even think of long Covid, because all my crazy symptoms made me push for thyroid testing about 10 months in. Sure enough my tsh was high, and my thyroglobulin antibodies were high. My blood work for thyroid is good now, with levothyroxine, except for thyroglobulin levels keep rising! (Which is odd but interesting). I’ve been bed ridden, and basically housebound for two years now. The brain fog and dizziness is so frustrating. I use to be a great multitasker, but can only concentrate in small amounts of time.
I’m also sweating like I did when I went into menopause, but the Covid sweat is worse. I am changing pj’s and sheets, it is so annoying. Also developed insomnia, dry eyes, and tinnitus that is very loud. I can’t watch the news, or loud music…..everything seems to stimulating and annoying to my brain. I’m also completely exhausted with this fatigue. I am very interested in trying the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. I finally have grandchildren and was hoping to help care for them. Now I can only watch them if my husband is home too. I’m feeling so stuck.
levothyroxine is one of 4 meds I'm on. I have to take a pill every 12 hours to keep my heart beating. Just a week before the covid induced A-fib incident I had all my cardio tests and Dr. said my heart should easily carry me to 100 (not that I wanted to stick around that long.)
I force myself to keep going, but a more of the home chores have fallen to my husband and I hate that, but he's taken it all in good nauture.
I can literally sleep for days. I try so hard to get up & be productive. I am exhausted. If I don’t have to work, I’m sleeping. I just want my life back. I have lucid dreams, I know that I’m sleeping but I can’t wake myself up, it’s very frustrating. I feel like I’m slowly getting better…. some days are better than others but it’s ALWAYS a challenge to wake up, even if I’ve slept for 15 hours, literally. According to my Apple Watch, I rarely enter deep sleep. I never feel rested. I’m only 42! I cut sugar out & eat a lot of veggies & drink plenty of water, that seems to help.
I feel you....this week every other day I crashed and slept. I do get reoccurring COVID dreams as well. I eat vegan mostly an run when my body is able. It is so very stinkin' hard. I feel like I am getting better then I crash! Thoughts and prayers for you.
Are you doing it at home? I did. It took me 40 days twice a day with a soft chamber i purchased. If you have the hard chamber (higher pressure) less time. Good luck
