What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

A good friend of mine sent me this video from his bird feeder. I thought it was so neat that I had to create a YouTube video and share it. Male Cardinal feeding his female partner.
Typical fall day. The photo looks a bit off because the window has a screen.
This is beautiful! My sister had a bird feeder with a camera and we have a video of a bear peering into the camera, then smacking the bird feeder. The camera survived but the bird feeder didn't.
@johnbishop, Thanks John. This is beautiful. Strangely, I did not become a bird watcher until my senior years. Isn't it amazing how the smaller things in life become so precious to you as you age?
It is a beautiful fall day here. 70 degrees with low humidity. My favorite time of the year.
God Bless You Greatly!
John and fellow friends of birds- have you found the app “Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab”? The app guides you to download the calls of birds most often found in your area, then while sitting out on the deck or taking a walk, you tap on the app microphone and it starts recording calls, then pops up bars with photos of who you are hearing, you can then tap the bar for further info. Over several walks, I’ve come upon 17 different ones!! You also have the choice to relay the info to Cornell Lab of Ornithology, which uses the data for their ongoing studies. It’s fun!
Ahh...fall and warm! Feeling so blessed!
Enjoy, everyone!
Beautiful day in the neighborhood. My bird feeder camera had some nice visitors.
An uplifting Wyoming sunshine.
