Adjustable bed frames: Acid reflux after esophageal cancer treatment
Esophogeal cancer treatment, surgery to remove esopohagus survivor. Still suffering from bad acid reflux even with omeprazole BID. Anyone recommend an adjustable bed frame that won't break the bank. I did lift the head of my bed frame up the recommended 6" but I need a frame / mattress that also bends at the knees so I'm not sliding out of bed.

How is the transition to soft foods going for you and your husband?
Thank you! Things are going well, cutting back on the feeding tube, hopefully will be removed Nov 1. He's tolerated everything so far, am going to try that Taco Bell chili and see how that sits. Hopefully won't cause any acid reflux. He's not a drinker, so I woryy about getting enough fluids once the feeding tube and water flushes are gone. Hopefully we can keep his weight stable these next 2 weeks before we go back to Rochester Mayo. He does like cottage cheese, so I use that for a good protien and some fruit. Fish and hotdish work well, haven't tried "meat" yet, like chicken or beef. I'm concious to not overfeed, don't want him to get sick, but seems like the portions are small. It really helps reading others experiences and success stories!
