Based on previous tests my Doctor said I had COPD. In a phone visit I told him I had some wheezing; he prescribed Anora, to be taken for a month. I guess as a test? Anyway the results were not good, quite the opposite. I developed a deep cough; and a lot of choking mucus all of which seemed to gradually disappear once I stopped. Also my breathing became more labored (short of breath)when I exerted myself. I have not had the opportunity to report back to the Doctor yet.

I have also had that same effect by using Trelegy I was only diagnosed with COPD about two months ago. Very early stages. I think maybe it’s too strong.

I am so frustrated by side affects. Have used Trelegy, Advair, Anoro, Ebuteral etc. All cause my body to heat from within, torso burning, feet tingling, achy, depressed. I am going to try just Guaifenesin and saline nebulized for a few days.

Definitely speak with your Dr. Often takes tries with several diffferent inhalers or nebulized meds. to find what works best, with fewer side effects.

I started smoking at the age of 12. During the following years that I was smoking, I quit once for 3 years, once for 2 and another time for 1 year, for a combined total of 6 years. Then 31 years ago, I quit smoking and never started up again. So out of my 84 years living, I smoked a total of 35 years probably averaging 1-1/2 packs a day. I was diagnosed with COPD about 5 years ago. I sleep well but have terrible coughing spells every morning and periodically in the afternoon until I'm able to expel phlegm from my lungs. I do take two puffs of Spirivia every morning which seems to help but does not get rid of the Phlegm issue. Has anyone else have this issue and found a solution to reducing it. One other thing, I check my Oxygen several times a day and it generally is 95% or higher and I am quite active and exercise by walking a minimum of a 1/2 to 45 minutes daily. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I take Robitussin DM 20ml twice a day. It dries up mucus & helps me to easily cough up phlegm.

I have major toro burning. Did not know it was a side affect of inhaler use. I am using Advair right now.

It seemed I had torso burning before I used any inhalers prior to being diagnosed. Could it be part of the disease symptoms?

I have been using ChatGPT to help me deal with my bronchiectasis- this AI consultant tells me not to worry about the burning if it is just an irritation. Actually came in handy to keep me warm during a 5K fast Thanksgiving Day event in cold weather yesterday especially since all my blood work shows no signs of chronic inflammation.
